GALVANISED / GALFAN / GALVALUME / ALUMINISED STEEL COILS AND SHEETS

Galvanisation or galvanising is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method of hot-dip galvanising is submerging in a bath of molten zinc.

Galvanised steel is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is needed without the cost of stainless steel, and is considered superior in terms of cost and life-cycle.

Generally galvanised material is used in making of prepainted steel, sandwich panels, water tanks, water pipes, construction project fittings, various industrial equipments, household products, electrical appliances, automotive body parts, cooling duct work, safety barriers, hand rails etc.

GALFAN STEEL: A thin layer of zinc-aluminium improves the weldability of the material because the reduced protective layer thickness allows for greater weld penetration and less dilution of zinc into the weld pool. Galfan coils are used in a variety of applications where the cost is justified. It is commonly used in horticultural & agricultural equipments, automobile, electrical boxes etc.

GALVALUME STEEL: Known for its strength, outdoor corrosion resistance and longevity, Galvalume steel is a preferred choice for fencing, ducting, fabrication of garage doors, garden sheds, construction of electrical appliances etc.

ALUMINISED STEEL: It is hot dipped coated on both sides with aluminium-silicon alloy. This kind of steel transfers heat faster than any other steel and therefore is beneficial for heating. Most common applications are incinerators, ovens, heaters, kitchen ranges & barbeque burners, dryers, engine
